Hypopressives was developed by Marcel Caufriez, a physiotherapist, in the 1980s. It consists of postures and a certain type of breathing which changes the pressure in the abdominal cavity. Hypopressive can be translated as Low Pressure. It is also a way to achieve fitness if you are unable to carry out high impact exercise such as running.

Hypopressives is taught in 6 1 hr sessions. After that you have all you need to continue on your own and continue reaping the benefits throughout your life. The studio is located in London N22 or a teacher may be able to travel to your home depending on location.
